The insert fits directly into any standard 50 mm opening of an ant arena or formicarium, providing active ventilation that improves air exchange while reducing heat and moisture buildup.

The transparent acrylic vent insert features an integrated sealing ring for a secure fit while preventing ants from escaping. Thanks to the USB connection, the fan can be powered from a USB power adapter, power bank or computer. The integrated controller allows you to select between three fan speeds (Low, Middle and High), making it easy to adjust the airflow according to the needs of your ant colony.

Note

The vent insert slightly reduces the maximum airflow of the cooling fan. The actual airflow depends on the free vent opening as well as the selected fan speed. For ant arenas and formicariums, the reduced airflow provides gentle and continuous ventilation without creating excessive drafts inside the enclosure.
