1 ant model, consisting of 11 individual parts
Description:
Detailed ant model kit inspired by Myrmecia brevinoda, a particularly large and impressive Australian ant species.
The model is supplied as a kit consisting of 11 individual parts and can be assembled in just a few simple steps. The characteristic features of the ant, including its long legs, prominent mandibles, antennae and distinctive body shape, are reproduced in three-dimensional detail.
With dimensions of approx. 17 × 14 × 5 cm, the model is considerably larger than the real ant, allowing the body structure and anatomical features to be viewed in greater detail.
The black and red colour scheme is inspired by the appearance of Myrmecia brevinoda. Once assembled, the model is suitable both as a decorative ant figure and as an educational or exhibition model.
Intended Use
Ideal as an educational model for schools, educational institutions, museums and exhibitions, as well as for ant keepers, collectors and anyone interested in insects and entomology.
The enlarged representation makes important anatomical features of an ant particularly easy to identify and explain. The model is suitable, for example, for:
- Biology lessons and environmental education
- Museums and natural history exhibitions
- Ant and insect exhibitions
- Training courses and workshops
- Decoration of formicarium and terrarium areas
- Collections and display cabinets
Note:
Not a toy. The model contains delicate components, particularly the legs, antennae and mandibles. These may be damaged or break if subjected to excessive force or if the model is dropped.
Please handle the model with appropriate care during assembly and subsequent use. For permanent display, we recommend placing the model in a protected location.
