labyrinth starter set

Beitragvon jhousele » 31. Okt 2006 20:42

Hi

We've bought the labyrinth starter set, but it's smaller than I expected... All the ant colonies (such as the lasius niger we were going to start with) say they need a 30x20x20 basin, which is much larger than the size of the labyrinth. Do we need somewhere else for the ants to live as well?

Thanks

Jon

Don't worry Jon... it will take a few years before the colony will out grow that basin.

Good luck.

You can always build on ore if the colony outgrow its basin you can move them to a bigger one.

Happy ant keeping.

@ M.Sebasta

I've read the instructions Max translatet from german to english. They can be downloaded in two .txt files :startersetenglish.txt and antfarmenglish.txt. I don't know, maybe he used google translator for it but the english is HORRIBLE. Bearly readable. I don't say it is his fault. I can only aplaude to his good intentions and his good will to change something for the better for the people who don't understand german. However, I can't help myself to berate you for the lack of intrest and work invested to fully translate this page in English. I understand that majority of the buyers are german but alot of people don't speak that language. Throughout the site I'm getting the message: "Sorry, no English description yet. Have a look at the German description, please. We are sorry for any inconvenience." It's quite an emberesment for you. Try to understand that this writing is not meant as critisism but as encuragement to change thing for the better.
