Now we wish much joy with the ant farm and a good development then of the ant colony living in it. Its Antstore team guidance The ANTSTORE ant farm was conceived in such a way that here a multiplicity can be held by kinds of ant unimpaired and under good observation possibility. 


Contents: 
1) = 1x ant farm with 2 female connectors 
2) = 1x cover 

1.) parts make sure you whether all parts are present. 

2.) several possibilities have to fill structure you around the farm. Beside cork, Regips or polystyrene plates the farm is filled
 up of most ant holding with sand/loam. If you have a Strohalm or a tube piece over, then you can a water seeping pipe 


(E) into the farm build and with cotton wool lock. Now you fill the
 ant farm first with a water-storing material e.g. clay/tone ball 

(A). Before you use the sand/loam mixture 
(B), this should be well mixed and kneaded, so that no lumps are more present. With the help of a funnel or a coffee filter can you now the sand/loam mixture 

(B) fill in. Moisten now the sand now with something water. Note: Please only dampen, but no aquarium from it make. Helpful is here a pipette. Over the female connectors 

(C) (inside 8mm/outside 10mm) you can by a suitable hose the farm with further Formicarien to connect e.g. 10/14 mm hose or 8/10 mm hose + 10/14 mm of adaptor pieces if you no further Formicarien to attach for the time being want, then you should lock the female connectors 

(C) with a plug. We recommend to attach however at least one arena (specially containers) for fodder and wastes to the farm with. So fungus growth in the farm can be prevented. 

3.) ants now can bring you your ant colony into the plant. There are 3 possibilities: 

1.) the colony with transport container (if the transport container is smaller than the ant arena) to the ant arena give and wait to the animals themselves from the transport container move. 

2.) the transport container with the ant farm over a hose connect. So the animals can likewise move in peace. 

3.) the animals from the transport container by paper or the spring steel tweezers 

(8) take and then into the plant give. Note: Make sure please that you take also the eggs (small white points) as well as the brood also into the plant. 

4.) cleaning ants quite immaculate animals, i.e. are that they transport the wastes themselves from the nest into the ant arena. They must remove only these heaps of waste from the nest. If in the farm Unrat should collect nevertheless, then this can be eliminated with tweezers. The nest should not be kept too wet in the long term.
