ANTSTORE World of Ants

Ok well Temnothorax nylanderi and Lasius flavus have same size workers according to antstore in the shop 2-4mm long both so why is it that Temnothorax Nylanderi are the ants that always escape and lasius flavus dont ? does it have something to do with Temnothorax nylanderi live on the ground so they explore more and lasius flavus live underground so they move out of there underground nest ?

Well mine never escape Well I have them in test tube so its quite hard lol im gonna put them in a ytong in a bit

They also could escape, don't worry.

Like you said, they normally live for about 80% underground, that could explain that they are not that active.

thats strange, my post got cut in half!! lol

should have read 'i suspect that they will spend most of their time exploring underground, so may not appear to escape so often, as if they do escape they will probly run straight into a dark place, rather than wonder about in the open as Temnothorax do'
