Jimmy Jimmy... I got almost all my knownledge about ants by reading ant books of Czechoslovakian myrmecologiest and texts.... Czech republic have myrmecology magazine ,,Formica" and this is also very helpfull.... I don´t want to affront somebody, but ant keepers usualy don´t know interesting informations for ant keeping, like myrmecologiest do.. Second thing is, that myrmecologiest aren´t fascinated by ant keeping
I also got many info by consultation with older and very very experienced keepers, but myrmecologiest somethimes show you very helpful informations... They can explain and solve a lot of problems in ant keeping and very easy.... I don´t say that I have some special or big knownledge which I´ve got from them, but for example when somebody go to some tropic country, better thing is to ask some myrmecologiest about ants and their catching, than to ask keepers and try their advicess on the place.... I can´t expres here my reaction on this here, but the best thing is to learn more and more about ants, and reading of books about them

Yes and... experience and skills are obtained just by searching, hunting and obesrving ants, but everybody know this

Sorry from my poor english and from metaphysics, I m too young for giving advices of this style, but.. I don´t know
