Lack of ventialtion is the biggest problem, with the lid on and vasaline its air tight! Had to scrape off some mould the other day

Thanks for the offer akell, very nice of you, but I think I will just stick with a good bit of vaseline around the top and the lid off (save you the postage!). They are currently sitting in a tray filled with water so break out is not an issue I just dont want to find any floating ants!

Sure thing. I would like to get an island farm, but I think my dog would either knock it over and eat the ants, or not knock it over and eat the ants, or drink the water, letting the ants out, and then eat them.
