i got the circle and the circle sponge and i been adding water to it and some the honey invert sugar syrup and changing it every 2 days and now there is this red spot in the sponge and another 2 what is this thanks

Could be a little mould. They are good for putting water in, but not for honey invert. It better that you give it without the sponge. But don't put to much in the circle so the ants can not drown in it.

should i mix it with water or just pure n sticky?

It is not a must to mix it with water. I always give it pure.

i mix mine with a bit of water and use cotton wool instead of a sponge as a sponge will eventually get mouldy
