if a black hole would be created in LHC it would only exist for some nanoseconds or less and it would have the mass to pull nothing .. just some protons colliding ... can't do any harm

thats not the point, lets say this is a sucsess and then we will probley try again and again until our luck does run out and we kill ourselfs.
The point is that they in a way could be putting all our lives on the line just for knowleadge. ok yes it may never go wrong but just think if it did.

As far as i know the anti-LHC-fraction only is afraid of a black hole being created ... and this can't cause any harm

yer true but what i mean is what is the point in risking our lives for something that COULD end up killing us just to answer a few questions.
and if you are saying that black holes are harmless form what i know they are far from harmless.

Hehehe... people were also afraid before the first nuclear explosion. They thought that nuclear explosion will make all the atoms on our planet split and so destroying the Earth. Hehehe, now people are afraid that we'll create black hole. LOL. I'm not much of a phisisit but I know one thing. To create a black hole you'd need enormous amounts of energy or gravity. So much of it that if you put all the energy in the world it wouldn't suffice. It doesn't come even close to it. Our sun is putting out enormous amounts of energy every second and it does not turn into a black hole. So I don't think a few particles will make one. I think people should get some knowledge before they start talking nonsence. But it's kinda cute to see that they care.

lol yes i was gonna say just that Chemitech.. they have only just started it up and started shooting around in one direction.. next comes firing in two directions.. and then the collision. Which i believe they say will happen later this year.. So we "Could" all still be killed you just wont know when its coming now

I bet all the people who were so worried still went on with thier normal day tho, don't you think that's abit sad that even tho the population could have been wiped out we all continued as normal???
