Well I'll try posting it in a new topic then..

Is there anything known about when there will be pheidole pallidula colonies available? I'm planning to order them but if it will take years I might get some other species.

Great I'm gonna order one. A new question: on pallidula's site it is said that they need radiant heating. Would it do to order just an infrared heating element or do I also need a radiant heater?
Also you can't order both ants and accesoires in the same order, does that mean they are actually seperate orders with seperate shipping costs?

EDIT:
I have ordered both the ants and the accesoires (still curious about the heating though). I wonder if I have to pay both orders in one payment or in two? (I could for example put both order numbers on the transfer card)

Hello Flechdrop,

in any case you should create a heating possibility.
It can be a heating mat or an infrared heating element.

Because we send the ants from our stock in Bonn, therefore separate forwarding expenses result. Therefore isn't possible a common dispatching of the ordered articles unfortunately.

Since the payments for both orders have to be transfered to the same bank account anyway, is it possible to do it in one transfer? (I only have one international transfer card left, and it would take a few days to order new ones)

Hello Flechdrop,

no, there are two bank accounts, since the ants are sent away by our ant stock. When we get your order, we send you the bankdetails for payments.

When you want it before, please send us a message to our customer-service, so that we can to dispatch you the bank data by email.

Got the money and the transfer cards now.. so is it okay if I just request the bankdetails and transfer the money? Also how's it going with the declaration of risk factor I have to sign?

Dear flechdrop,

the delivery times are different. Also a few days you must count.

Would you like to pay with credit-card or by prepayments? If you send us the order , so get you our bankdetails. When you have there problems, then write nevertheless please our customer service. In the formular write your name, adress and other contactdetails. Then we write you again and help you.

Which concerns the insurance, then this is an internal possibility to
insure itself. If the ant-colony on the route of transportation should
take damage, then you can contact afterwards us, so that a satisfying
regulation can be found.

I just wanted to say that both the ants and the accesoires arrived today and all seems to be fine. I've connected the test tube to the formicarium and now the waiting is for the ants to move. I've put some cake crumbs in the tube leading to the formicarium and one of the ants already discovered it after a few minutes (!) and brought back a very little crumb to the colony. Thanks for these great animals
