Alright there, i recieved my ants on thursday and they are just sitting in the test tube!! how do i get them to move into the delux tank??? i have attaches it to the small hole in the side of the tank and only a few workers are looking around the tank
how long till the queen goes into the tank???

hi i anit sure if i should say any think but u kinda have to let her come out own her on like i mean i had to waite 4 days before my queen moved out its one of these things were she feels safe and if she anit out in 3 weeks then ask teh guy who runs the site im jsut saying what he said to me

Hello uncle_tome!

Connecting the test tube with the antfarm deluxe is the best you can do. Now you have to wait and be patient, in some cases the ants will move into the nest very fast (like Peter said) in other cases it took some weeks.

Gave them food and they will develope, after getting more individuals it will get to small in the test tube and they will settle in the farm. Or the water after the cotton get empty and it will gets to dry.

Give some honeywater on the inner side of the lid, its easy to clean away after a few days. Small pieces of insects can you put a the sides where you can also remove them easely and clean the part with a cotton swap.

Sorry to tell you but you're queen may never come out. She might feel comfortable in their and doesn't think she needs any more space. After awhile you might wanna tap on the glass lightly and try to get her to move you can also try putting black construction paper around the formicarium.
