ok i have seen that my colony is taking out a tun of coccon caseings the big ones as well as i can see pupe alates now i have been told that if i just leave them alone they will eaither sit there work a little or just be killed what if they had a nuptial flight inside there encloser would they mate with echother like i have heard of other ants doing and if they do will the colony take all the new queens as there own? or will they not mate at all just go up to the top of the cage and fall down dead or alive?

Would you like to use some punctuation marks next time? Most people like them. They are pretty. Reading texts like yours is a hard work.

Males will never work. They will try to fly out, when the weather conditions will be fine for this (may be hard in house), if it is not possible, they may be killed by workers or simply die.
Queens of some species can act as workers, but I don't know which ones. They will probably also try to fly out, or do nothing.
Males and females of the same colony will not copulate, at least not inside nest. So the new queens will not be fertilized. They are some exceptions, like Monomorium pharaonis, which love incest of all kind. But for most species it is impossible.
I think the best thing (if you have some native species) is to open the formicarium when you see they want to fly out, and put it near window.

ok i will do that o and how do i know my queen is still alive asking cuz i did not see her when they moved just last night nor did i see any eggs but nothing but large coccons and a few small larva but no eggs or queen? o and sry about the punctuation marks when typeing i forget all about them. even took me 6 trys to find the "." lol

we will understand what you are saying.

If your colony is still producing new workers, then chances are your queen is still alive, but theres no way to know if you cant see into the nest, and I do not recomend you try getting into it as you will likly kill half your colony and possibly the queen.
