i have 2 amazon green parrotts (who i thick are on eggs) i also have 2 herman's tortoise, some ducks and i used to have an eagle owl

I used to have a fear of my Campnotus Ligniperda. I am still scared to take the lid off the tank to feed them because they like to spend time on the lid.

I also used to be scared of my camponotus ligniperda and probably for one good reason, i got bitten by one of the ants once. I took of lid to feed them but one was on the lid and i didnt notice it until i felt pain and saw it between my index and middle finger biting in the soft tissue of flesh...

So now whenever i feed them i first check if the lids campo free

@jimmy would be awesome to scare ur self every morning i mean then u could actually eat ur breackfast and not fall asleep in it lol =D

Another phobia i have is is of my ants escaping when i open the lid to my tank.

Ants escaping never really bother me. I sleep in the same room as my ants and most of them dont have lids. Just PTFE and vaseline. My ligniperda are in another room with no lid or PTFE.. i should probabily get around to puttin a lid on them lol

Definatly. if your campo escape into wood in your house it could be a disaster.

yes , when campo escape it is disaster ... I have for 2 years colony of Camponotus fallax in my wooden window and I dont know how they can live. I killing workers because I dont want them there , using Raid on , and etc. , and they are still alive and now I saw first majors !!

Also , two years ago , HUGE colony of Camponotus vagus with a lot of biggest majors (colony 1200 workers cca) escape from ytong nest (made hole into during night) and when I woke up , one major bite me on nose :D and all room was as ants high-way. Formicarium empty , and all colony in table where I have school books etc. ... it was interesting day also for my family

That is absolutly funny!!!! Im surprised your family still lets you keep ants (unless if your not living there anymore). How could you solve a problem like that? would you need an exterminator?
