well right now i have eastern subterranean termites and i have them in a bolw i found in my kitchen they cant climb up the sides so that should be fine for them untill i find an terriaum to put them in but as for well your species looks a lot like mine i could not find anything on your species but if they are any thing like mine you should only have to keep them watered and as to find them idk i accendtly stumbeled on mine while looking for carpenter ants but if you do find a nest more than likely there will be workers out exploring around the enterence to the nest or a lot of wings but as to an artficial nest i am still working on that my self i asume that you could use an ant nest for termites like a y-tong that is keeped extreamly moist but other than that idk they might be able to break through the y-tong so i sugest if you use that to keep it sealed

OK...thanks...For the feeding? Cellulose may be good for Kalotermes?

When i find workers, i can put them in a test-tube for ants?

yes cellulose shold do fine as well as the test tube but make sure to keep it humid but unlike ants i think termites are veggitarians but i am not intirely sure on that

Oh yes, today i've found two reals of Reticulitermes lucifugus. I don't know if they're male and female, or both males or females. I've put them in a test tube. I want to put them in a nest that allows an easy observation...Can i make a nest with compensated-wood? Will they dig the nest in the wood? What about air umidity for this specie?

I've looked for Kalotermes'nynphs, but i haven't found any nest yet :-(

well they will make there nest in the wood but they for food will prefer cardbord and for easy observation i sugest make a display type farm just like you would for ants but drench it lol not to much but just enough to never let the ground dry out and if you only have 2 termites chances are they wont last the need the larger colony but they might so good luck with them and give them bits of paper and cardbord to munch on from what i have seen of your termites on google i would say they are my kind maby when my colony gets bigger and has a king and queen i could ship you a few dozen workers if yours dont work out and if my countrys laws premit it
