Hi staff,
I have some questions please.
I would like to buy any of the following but have some concerns of their descriptions.

Pheidole pallidula
But I can't afford to run a heating lamp. Would it be ok if I didn't have one? My room temperature is about 15 degrees celius but could raise it to 20 especially.

Pheidole pallidula
Heating lamp please see above. What does risk class 3 mean please?
It says they like a dry climate but my home has a damp problem and therefore high humidity. Would this be ok?

Aphaenogaster senilis
Heating lamp as above. It says they only nest in soil but would sand be ok?

If I order an antworld type box from you would you deliver it and the ants together please? (What size thin box would you recomend for the above ants please)?

Is it possible to order today and get a (weather permitting) 24 or 48 hours qauranteed delivery please?
I have part time work so am unavailble for parts of some days.
Would I be right in thinking that if I wasn't there I would have to pick up the package from the closest DHL depot to where I live? (I assume they put a card through the door telling you this).

I'm not from Antstore staff, but I can say 15 degrees is much too low even for northern species. In this case some kind of heating is a must. Ca. 25C is the optimal temperature for most European ants, some southern species would be even happier with 30C. Temp. below 20C usually stops the larvae growth and egg laying.

Tail is telling the truth. My Pheidole pallidula life at 27-30°c (in summer) Also Aphaenogaster senilis need that heating. All south European ants do. If you can not give them that it is better not to buy these ants at all. (sorry)

Yes if you are not at home they put a card in you letter box when they come back ore where to collect the package.
