the most good ant from this three is Campo ligniperda
- nice , big , not hard to keep , not agressive
second is Manica rubida
- nice , big , harder to keep (humidity) and if is angry it is very agressive ant
and the last (by me) is Myrmica rubra
-not nice , no big , hard to keep (humidity , workers eating eggs sometimes) and it is angry ant everytime , everywhere and it has POISON STING so for "hypersensitives" is it dangerous

i think u should go with manica rubida(but it depends on how u feel ) coz they r more active then lighnerperda 4 1 thing...aswell as they can have more than 1 queen in a colony aswell with other stuff they may suit u more.....

i would'nt go 4 rubra tho, i agree with skippy...

Are you sure? I tried putting queens together a few times but every time they just fight, usualy killing each other .
I got one queen left from my attempts and so far she has 4 workers after 3/4 of a year, realy slow growing. I find them much trickier to keep than ligniperda but they are realy big, beautiful and aggressive so its well worth it.

My ligniperda get chased away by anything bigger than a blue bottle unless it goes in to the nest, and this is with 70+workers. Mania rubida will kill any thing that won't kill it first single handedly.

Still ligniperda are very nice ants if you want something huge that dosen't need loads of experiance.

You are talking about Manica rubida right ? They could have more queens in one colony but it is hard to put them together after they settled down. (if you know what i mean) In my case they don't grow that slow. And i only have one queen in that colony.
