Something some one said as to get the lasius niger out...

I read this thing by a guy who keeps ant himself he said that to get Lasius Niger out of their testube you can put them in the freezer or fridge for 10mins and they will be asleep so u can move them is this true??

Not freezer, but in fridge.it is true but it is very stressful for them.

yh the fridge 4 bout 10 mins then u should be able 2 gentley tip em in :P....

freezer would kill em lol...

Why would you put them in the freezer to move. If the colony is small just keep them in the tube. They will do just fine in there. If the colony gets to big for the tube you can put the tube in there new nest (out world) and they will move them self. I know they are difficult movers but it is better to let them move them self than to freeze them and tip them over... (also there are other ways to let them move)
