ANTSTORE World of Ants

I would like Myrmica rubra, so I want to make an order this week...what kind of basin is adequate for this kind of ant?is the starter set glass farm basin 20X10 too small ??and the sand/loam is a good nest for them???

yep thats too small, i would recomend 30x20x20 at least, and yep sand loam is fine

In deed, i also would go for the 30*20*20 at least. The nest type is good, keep it moist, they like it moist. Also they like sweets very much.

I've changed because myrmica was finished...so I've just ordered 1 lasius niger queen, 1 pheidule pallidula, and 1 messor barbarus queen...I'm very happy and ansious to see the development of these three different species!!!
