Looking too. Havent found any demos nearby yet.
I hope politics find an appropriate way of dealing with the situation. I wish money would play a less important role in all this...

indeed, it infuriates me that money is the only thing this world cares about, over the suffering of so many people

No protests around here. Nevertheless I plan to boycott games completly. I will not watch a minute of it. It´s a international fiasco that the China is hosting this games.

Because China does not care about Human Rights, and it invaded Tibet and has since forced the Tibetan people into submission, thru beatings, closing temples and killing Monks and Children.

It has a history of Human Rights violations, including, 'black prisons' that dont exist, the government will quickly arrest/attack/kill anyone that voices an opinion that is diffrent to the state policy.

Have a quick search of Google for China Human Rights and China Tibet, and you will quickly see why China needs an urgent change of policy and government

China is a totalitarian state, that feeds its people propoganda to control it (much like the west, but with more murder). For eg, recent protests in Tibet resulted in the deaths of 18 people, including monks and children, what was reported to the Chinese people, was that hundreds of police officers where hurt in riots by people in the Tibeten province, and that none of the protestors where hurt!

The Dhali Lama, the head of Tibet, operates a policy of peace, and Tibet is one of the most peacful countries in the world, until China invaded, China has then told the Chinese people that the Dhali Lama is stirring up riots and violance, what infact happened, was the Dhali Lama said he would resign as head of Tibet if anyone commited violance against the Chinese authorities, and that he wanted Tibet to have its independance thru peaceful talks, as was the way of the Tibetan people before China invaded.

The only reason they are allowed to behave the way they do, is because they provide cheap goods to the EU, UK and USA, once again the western world proves that money is more important than human rights!!

im still not to sure even asking my dad ages ago why china Tibet thing, but all i know is that Tibetan monks are really peaceful, i mean they just sat down as a way of protesting at first, then they couldn't get the message across so they try to put out the torch, i don't know why the security was so uptight about a freaking flame, they were like tackling them to the floor even if they were not trying to put the flame out, just because they had a sign or flag in their hands, its a disgrace, everyone has the right to protest so long as its a non violent one, but they anti protesters were making it violent.

I dont believe for a second that the riots and violance in Tibet where by Tibetians, but infact by Chinese pretending to be Tibetan in an attempt to disrupt the peaceful protest that the Chinese are so scared off, the claim that the DL instigated the riots is absolutly ludicrious, how on earth China expects us to believe that I really dont know, I guess they dont really understand that information is free in most of the western world, and we dont accept bulls**t as easily as the chinese have been groomed to do

Over 200 people have been killed by the Chinese authorities now, the Chinese Government claim that 22 Chinese Police and many buildings have been destroyed by the Tibetans, but no one has been killed

The lies just never end!!

And now, the UK Government is on alert, because Chinese hackers have been getting into files belonging to the UK government and military, and they believe that the hackers are being sponsered by the Chinese olympics comitte

WHY are these games being alloed to continue?! it disgusts me the way money always talks louder than life in this world :(
