Difficult to say which species she is. (maybe if you have better pics) but she looks nice. Hope she lay eggs soon. Good luck.

three weeks now and still no eggs and one of my queens have died

i was lucky enough to find anouther one to replace her so hopefully i have better luck with this one she looks the same a my other queens but she is bigger (begger head, thorax and abdonim) you can see the slits in the thorax where the wings where its funny though she is the only one i found and i did not see a flight and it has not rained lately so she might not be firtile but she has pulled her wing off

do you thing it might be a fertile queen she is a least twice the size maybe more the the other workers that look like her and are in this area but did not see a flight or any males i guess time will tell

Well it could be there was a small flight, so i would hang on to here for a while. The other queens.. i don't know, after three weeks still nog eggs... you could keep them for another week ore 2. They should have eggs by now. Good luck with you new queen.
