Ah its ok if they dont but would be cool if they would, Thing is tho that the alleged queen chamber is 2.9 or 3 cm deep the rest are like 1.9 to 2.3 cm deep.
Is that enough?

@steve I didnt exactly make a ytong leg but instead ingraved a box like shape were a plastic container fits and is fill with water. Il show a pic of it later or tomorrow.

@Jimmy How you like the main tunnel jimmy? I know you always have something like this in ur ytongs and recommend it. I took your advise of a main tunnel in this ytong. Hope its alright

Thanks :D , you think it's ok for Camponotus ligniperda?
The chambers are 1.4 cm deep. Is that deep enough or should I make deeper?

yes i think that will be fine antlord.. and wicked ytong work m8.. :)
ashhad.. that leg looks fine.. However.. id be slightly worried that its not gonna get the nest even remotely enough damp.. In fact i dont even think its gonna get the nest damp at all.. prob just a small bit of that corner.. However i could be wrong.. i advise u to fill it with water and give it a go...

Well i like it very much. Yes a main tunnel is always nice for the ants. Easier for them to move from the one room to another, with brood and food ands stuff.

@ Antlord: very nice farm. You did a great job with this one. The only thing i miss is the main tunnel. ;) But it is not necessary to have one. Just easier for the ants.

Let us know who you are,

Thanks !
