Seems like a Lasius species, maybe flavus ore umbratus, but i'm not so good at this so maybe you better wait for someone else to confirm that. ;)

I'm not sure if it is solenopsis fugax.

solenopsis fugax: Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar (Color may be different.)

My English is poor, so here is info from Wikipedia:
"Solenopsis fugax is a myrmicine ant of the genus Solenopsis.
(...)The species is a thief ant and usually has its nest near another species, stealing food by entering the foreign colony through minute tunnels dug from their own nest."

Workers are very small.

Well, I have no idea what is RRS  what car?

Alby hat geschrieben:it's possible to breed???

It may be difficult but probably they can live without a host. Try to keep her like other species. Wait at least for first workers.

If i'm not mistaking Solenopsis are fire ants. Do you find them in Italy ? ore where did you captured it ? If these is a fire ants you should be carful with it, they can sting pretty bad. But think it is rather a Lasius species.

Solenopsis fugax is harmless.
But Solenopsis invicta, geminata, xyloni and Solenopsis richteri are nasty

Alby, can you insert another picture of your queen, using "add an atachment" (at the bottom of the "post reply" window)?
