okay my ants are arrived. i give them water,sugar water ,watermelon and honey.yesterday there was 3ants scout and they scouted all the arena.but farm is empty with ants for now.now they all are in the testtube and a piece of watermelon. about 10-15 ants now.i give you some pics cause maybe something isnt good.

All is good. They will stay in the test tube until colony is large enough to move. Unless you force them out that is, but don't do that!

Don't forget to feed them insects too.

tonight they will have only boiled flies.but i have a question.do they can eat a boiled fly what is dead about some time(weeks or more) ?

one more question.when the all ants are in ttesttube do they need shadow from LAMP?

they probably would eat a fly that is dead for a few days, but it always better to give them fresh food.

Yes, it is best not to put them in direct (sun)light.

yeah i might be a good idea to position the lamp or light so that it is not pointing directly at the test tube

yesterday i give them fly but now its gone(in the test tube).tomorow i need to get the fly out of the nest ?

No as long if it doesn't mold you can leave it in, if they drag the fly out you can remove it, but it is not necessary to disturb them by taking the fly out of the tube.

yeah i always cover the test tube it just reduces the amount of stress on the colony
