btw

I heard some info about sending Solenopsis (fire ant) from South America to Europe ,my friend also received one colony ,so I will try to ask him if he´ll be online on ICQ ... looks interesting ant on photo ... maybe I´ll try some small colony ,later

Skippy you wont get a small colony these grow to a big colony very very fast...

It probly isnt, but i've pmmed u a contact that you need to speak to if u suspect it is, please dont ignore this, Fire Ants in the UK would be an absolute disaster, as it has been for every country they have invaded

Keep this in mind. Fire ants are dangerous and better not let them out in nature, but that is for all species you import from out of your country, not only for Fire ants. If you like keeping them be sure what you are starting with, they sting is very painful and could cause dead.

I found a Fire Ant in my garden. I made the mistake of letting it free, mainly because of the lack of containers.

Look at this, if your hand looks like the guys leg it could be a sting of a fire ant. The say it hurts for about 24 hours. A burning feeling. Didn't know they live in England.
