i'm working on a new website which allows everyone to add siteings of Nuptial Flights to a google map, please do add your siteings!

The idea is to create an easy to use refrence for people to check their local area for mated queens, and also to check the previous years flights to give them a bit more info so they can predict the next one.

Also will help people to find particular ants in their local area that they may find interesting to keep.

Hi Mizst!

I am ready for your project. I have written in PC some species Nuptial flights for 3 years. I also have some information from other regions in Slovakia ,Czech republic ,all with datums ,times.
For Example:
Camponotus vagus Bratislava region:
2005: all males/females at 1.may
2006: all males/females at 25. april
2007: at 12-13-14 april ,every that day smaller numbers of males/females
-all this days ,sunny ,ca 24-25´C and ca 60-70 of humidity ,after rains
You want it like that?

cheers skippy are the ones u added from 2007? I havnt setup a validator yet, will do it tonight so that dates are formated dd/mm/yyyy, as I am going to include a search engine that will display flights at specific times of year

Automatic forum posts and image gallery linked to markers is nearly finished, if anyone is up for testing them for me next week drop me a pm

Also could do with a collection of images to use for diffrent species on the markers, if anyone has a collection that would be good to use at a small size 32x32 px and would like to have them used let me know they will replace the current icon of a red ant that you se on the markers

I have many photos ,which I didint got on page ,so write spec what you need ,I can send some nice photos

If you want original photo (no smalest version like is on page) ,write name of photo on PM and I will send you original big photo

-I got on your site swarmings of this year (I have many datums in PC ,this is only smart part . I have datums from this ,last and 2005 year ,I´ll get ti there soon

i have added a point on this map now miszt. it is a very clever idea and will show the differences between mating flights over most of Europe.
i was also reading about the moderator bit and as i have a lot of time on my hands would be very interested.
