------------------------------------------------------------------

Attitude class 1 = easy attitude, wash and wear, durable kind of ant. For the still inexperienced owner in the best way suitably. This does not mean that the respective kind is boring!

Attitude class 2 = more complex, more complex attitude (e.g. air humidity, temperature and fodder must be proportioned correctly). Previous knowledge of the insect attitude should be present.

Attitude class 3 = only for the professional suitably, these kinds of ant are sensitive in relation to climatic changes, lack of fodder and other factors.

The risk classes refer to the risk for the native ecological system.

Risk class 1 = ants of this risk class are widespread in Europe. Referring to an endangerment of European ecological systems are not present. These kinds of ant can be classified therefore as harmless. They are available for everyone without age delimitation.

Risk class 2 = ants of this risk class are exotic kinds. Due to its special requirements in terms of their Habitat and/or their high temperature sensitivity or due to other scientific realizations, an establishment is to be excluded into European ecological systems. A sales takes place only against signature of the newspaper of "warning references of exotic kinds" by persons of age (with persons under age of them educate-entitled).

Risk class 3 = are kinds of ant without referring to a concrete Gefaehrdungspotenzial for European ecological systems. However an establishment is potentially conceivable in European ecological systems due to the respective requirements to the Habitat, although also very improbable. Furthermore also indefinite kinds of harmless kinds are classified here. Sales only against signature of persons of age (or with persons under age of them educate-entitled) that them over a possible risk was cleared up, and us it insure to provide for a outbreak-safe verwahrung of the ants.

Risk class 4 = concrete ones of referring to establishment by bringing in or settlement in European or comparable ecological systems is present. Kinds with unclear (e.g. indefinite Pheidole kinds) or probable Gefaehrdungspotenzial are likewise classified under this class. These kinds of ant are sold only on request at universitaere institutes and research establishments. Institut must guarantee us security in writing.

On dangers e.g. by passes or bites becomes in the respective description of the kind (under danger:) referred to. A detailed description to risks with Exoten as well as the forms are to be found under Download and must before the distribution send itself (by fax or by post office).

For differentiating biological risks, as well as determining certain kinds of ant we have a new coworker, Dr. Langstein, in the team.

Quality class 1 = controlled colony/queen. The queen put brood, which developed to female workers under observation.

Quality class 2 = halfcontrolled colonies. With large colonies it is extremely heavy to tighten how many queens (with polygynen kinds) is present and whether these were also always begattet. There is therefore a risk of 10 - 40% that the colony in such a case after our experiences only 6 months until one year exists.

We hope to have found a compromise for all sides - customers, and critics of the ant attitude - thereby.

Yours sincerely
Your ANTSTORE team
