Yep sounds like a good idea. Antstores prices are good, its just the postage which bumps the price up, suppose the couries have to make a living though.

any news on the supply front Alan, I am in need of a lid for my nest, before I order from antstore, do you have anything that I could use, (I have cats and my other half aint so keen on having them lidless...!!!) the over all size is, 14x8 inches, I saw the Aluminium fine round hole plate or the Aluminium stretch grid ultrafinely, in antstore, I am not sure which is best, I just want them to have as much air flow as possible.
Or maybe you can suggest an alternative, I have hunted around the DIY stores with out success.

hmmm i dont have anything like that yet. im looking to sell full ant farm kits.

at the minute i have pre-made ytong nests for sale. im sure u have seen my other thread with them on. but once i finish my research on products then hopefully it'll be all go!

Yep, One of his y-tong nest was delivered to me today, there great!

thanks for the comment Sced, i have found a great way to connect ytong nest together if you ever need to expand it! Also adapters so the tubing supplied will fit the 10mm holes on the antstore glass farms!

What kind of y-tong nest do you sell ? the same as here on Antstore ?
I make mine myself but i'm just interested.

i make premade ones, like in the pictures on the other thread. supplied with clear plastic top and tube! so all good.
