i just got a queen or mother ant and im not so sure of what to do...
she mated n i watched he shed her wings... she buried herself and im not sure what to do... do i have to feed her, will she come out once in a while searching for food, or i just leave her?? please help!

i need the help very bad!!!!

This depends on the species. Some do need food, while others breed the first workers all by themselves without needing any additional food.

Keep the nest moist (not wet), and have an eye on the queen. If you see her outside of her nest, offer some food and water. Ants need carbohydrates (honey) and proteins (small insekts).

Then you'll need to wait 1-2 month for the first worker to hatch.

ok thanks and i dont think shell come out cuz she burried her self but im watching to make sure its ok p.s. i got a second queen seperate in case something goes wrong

ok my 2 queens have burried themselfs n i am keeping a close watch...
if they burried themselfs does that mean they wont come up for food?

What kind off species do you have? (your queens)

Queens don't need food (most species) till the first workers come out, they need water. Like NuEM sad, keep the nest moist.

It's not that easy to tell, if they need food or not without knowing the species. Even those who do look for food will usually keep their nest shut, for security.

i dont no what kind of queen it is but i now the ants are small n she put some dirt up against the wall so i cant see and is it possible shes stuck under ground????

wen the first worker is born will it dig to the suface?

I doubt she is stuck. Just keep the substrate moist so it doesn't become loose. The first workers will dig to the surface without a problem.

That is normal, queens don't like sunlight.

you have 2 queens?? Are they both in diffrent tanks/farms
