ANTSTORE World of Ants

Hi guys.
I built this formicarium myself out of Y-tong aerated concrete. This is the first time I have seen mold in the formicarium and its spread fast.
They havent dragged any food into there so I have no idea what has set it off :S.
Is there a safe way to remove the mold without harming the ants? or do I have to move them out get a fresh piece of ytong and start again..?

Please Help. My other formicarium seems fine its only on this side of the formicarium up the top which I have been trying to remove with a qtip and down the bottom which I cannot get to..

Hi!,

I don't know if this mold is harmful to ants, the queen in the photo you posted seems to be fine but its always best to keep an eye out on it to see if it spreads more towards the queen. It may not be harmful though..

What I was wondering is if that's an ant of another species in there.
