ANTSTORE World of Ants

I received my Queen and few workers in a test tube almost 3 weeks ago and already some have hatched!! I am using a heat mat to keep the temperature up and they like to hear the radio all day. I just looked into the test tube now and the number eggs has increased greatly with the little newborns crawling all over them. The Queen seems really happy in the test tube for now. I was that worried she would prefer somewhere to dig. The workers gather seeds and others separate them, can see all the sesame seeds up by the queen, and little black poppy seeds near the middle of the test tube and all their rubbish at the test tube entrance which I clean once or twice a week just by brushing gently with a cotton bud. Occasionally some ants fall over, I'm guessing they're excited or hyper with bursts of energy? Since they might be used to digging a lot, I don't think the test tube provides enough exercise. I look forward to the colonies expansion.

When they arrived there was the Queen, 5 major workers four medium sized and one very small. Now there's at least 5 majors, 4 medium sized and around 8 small ones and a bunch of eggs (no idea how many)

For now they are in Starter Kit - farm-arena 20x10 - test tube is in the arena and they haven't yet discovered the farm. I got the Starter kit before I had ordered any ants, otherwise I would definitely have ordered the Messor barbarus double apartment from the store here. I will probably order it when the colony has grown a little more. I want to see them dig chambers

If anyone has any tips on how to speed up the colony growth or nice foods your ants eat I'd like to hear

Last night these ants finally decided to move into their loam and pebble digging area. The colony has grown magnificently in the test tubes so far but I am a little puzzled. The ants have somehow managed to take stones, from the bottom and put them on top of the sand. They have created a little nest in the very bottom, in an area which used to be stones. Now the stones are on top. I am just speechless how they did this. Right now they are moving eggs into the space. Lots and lots and lots of ants running back and forth

All they eat is seeds. They refused fruit, cherries etc. They refused mealworms. All they wants is seeds.

Edit: The whole colony has just been trying to help the queen climb the wall so she can go through the tube to her new home but I don't think she can make it. After 10 mins trying she has gone back in her test tube, while the rest of the colony and her eggs are in the chamber of their new home
