It is true that Harpegnathos saltator as well as Harpegnathos venator can walk on glass. And not only glass by the way but also I observed them walking over talkum and even oil.
So that isn´t the problem. I would much rahter worry about the lenght of the way they have to walk to the basin.

But well we will see when you get your Harpegnathos venator.

Well thats a hard thing to do when keeping them.^^

I´m very curious to see how they will adapt to the outworld, since it isn´t completley how I would have made it but it certainly isn´t bad.

I wish you more luck with keeping them than I had!

Regards
Kaj

Hey Adam,

Do you offer them live prey or prekill it?

Hello Vasile they are offered live prey the crickets are mini crickets so they are able to quickly kill them , they attacked and killed a big spider aswell i had found crawling across my floor so dropped it in there tank.

Thanks for the quick response. I was just thinking perhaps they're not being fed as much as they could be, they are large ants and require a LOT of protein !

Cheers,
Vasile

Hello Vasile they do have alot of live food , i place at least 5 -6 live mini crickets in there outworld each day , there are several running around the outworld so they have plenty to feast upon :D , there is usally 2 -3 in the nest chamber they have caught when i look and the gasters on are the ants are extended so they are very well fed.
