Firstly, for now the only ant farm i have is Ant-World, however i have customized it to have a bigger foraging area, i also have 3 of these ant worlds in total, so if i begin to run out of room, i plan on connecting the other 2.

I do plan on buying a bigger ant farm when i have more money, but for now , i think i will stick with this, as it is my first time, i thought it would be OK to start small.
What i wanted to ask was, is this farm OK?
Another thing i wanted to ask was, how do you lot catch your flies, or if you use other insects, what do you use? I have been using the method of having a bottle cut in half, so far it has caught me one fly, which i let go as it was only to see if it worked.
Some more questions I have are:
1) What is best, sugar water or honey water and how do i make it? (How concentrated, etc.)
2) Is soaking some cotton wool in the solution OK? Or is there a better method of feeding the ants.
If there is any more advice you could give me on caring for a queen, please tell me! Thanks!
Update:
Today my Lasius Niger queen arrived in the post, she came with around 15 workers and some eggs and cocoons. I put them straight into the foraging area of my farm with a freshly killed fly which they quickly began to devour and have been returning to feed the queen with for a few hours, I also put in some cotton wool dipped in sugar water and left it in the foraging chamber, a few of the workers have crawled over it but have not really bothered eating it.
I am now waiting for the small colony to move into the main part of my ant farm, and was wondering if there is any way I can encourage them to do so? I was also wondering what everyone feeds there ants for energy, not protein.
