Hello everyone, I'm not really new because I have towards the end of summer 2009, and I wanted to buy an ant farm but was not available ... now what I wanted to not make mistakes I would ask you some advice before buying and this starts 'adventure
1) .. for a beginner who wants to see the life of ants ... their "habits" etc ... what kind of ants do you recommend? not one that costs too xDxD
2) what kind of ants? the Lasius niger?
3) where to place the nest when I have? at what point in the house? where it passes less light? more light? a humid place? dry? etc.

things so therefore I want to know;)
what they eat and everything you need I could buy in the shop;)

No problem Mat.

First thing you need is a nest area and an out world. You can use a ytong for the nest and a box for the out world (to feed your ants in).
The ants will arrive in a tube so you can also put the tube into the out world.

Lasius niger are the best species to start with. Easy to keep and they adjust pretty quick.

The place is not so importent, the temperature and humidity are. If you decide to keep Lasius niger you can put them in your living room. In summer they need about 20-25°c in winter 5-10°c. Humidity should be fine, they are easy to keep like i told you.

Make sure you read the caresheet. Lots of good information on it for starters.

But these nests with ytong are good? but I find them already made? or do I have to do it alone? that is why I would not recommend those in the shop? xDxD being a mod site xD

if I only recommended for me to save money, well I prefer to buy one did well eheh .... but then if you say that ytong is well made and is also already made to buy, well okay .. . even though I like best are made as those in the shop ... you tell me bah xD

You can buy ytong (almost) everywhere. You need to make the rooms yourself in the ytong but that is easy. (and it saves you a lot of money)
