I want to make a sand/loam mix for my antfarm. Its for the species Pheidologeton diversus. Should i mix it sand loam - 3 to 1 or 2 to 1?

Also, if the sand is in the antfarm. Do i need to make all the sand in the antfarm wet, before moving the ants to the sandnest?

First of all, i'm sure you know these ants are very very hard to keep. To mix up the sand and loam i would go for a 3-1. The sand should be moist before you move them, don't make it to wet.

Read alot from these species before you buy them. They need a lot of care.
