Hello,

Well 3 days ago I saw my messor barbarus queen for the last time. The weird thing was that she would take small pieces of cotton off in the test tube. I am worried as if she continues wont she drown? I am a bit worried now as I havent seen her since sunday as I read not disturb your messor barbarus queen.

No, it´s perfectly normal that they digg a little around in the test tube.
When you have the queen from some shop the cotton will be massive so the queen won´t digg to deep.
Sometimes they digg because the nest is to dry. Is there any water in the test tube behind the cotten?

yeah I checked today on her just incase and she has layed several eggs!

Yes, normally the cotton would be big enough. Still keep an eye on it that she don't dig to far everytime you feed her.
