hello im new here and i hope you can help. i bought a Camponotus ligniperda colony of around 50 workers and after moving from the container they came in to the ytong nest i made the queen died about 2 days after moving in. what could this be due to?

PS: the post took a whole week but could this be it because the ants looked fine and it it was becasue of that wouldnt it have died in the post?

Hi Tom,

Its a long trip from Europe to Argentina so it could be that the queen was to much stressed out. To bad because they are lovley ants.

Mabye you can try to put a new queen into the colony but its not sure it will work. Its always a risk to do so.
