i would like to know when i should feed my ants they have about 15 eggs and 7 workers and 1 queen. i found them under a rock . i have had them for 3 days now.

Feed them now, sugar water, honey or insects.

Well they need fresh drinking water 24/7.. Then need sweets (Sugar water, honey) And they need protein.. insects..

Out of interest, in what form was the protein in?

down to three workers and found a queen had no larvea i put her with the other queen they formed a partnership and the workers where'nt hostile towards her and trying too get tubes for them and my m.rubra colony.

one of the queens are digging to i have them in a temporary container( baby food jar ) and give tem meal worm .
