You know that that nest is too big for that Camponotus ligniperda kolonie?

Really? how should we do for the best results? so we can adjust to the proper way so that our ants will thrive. Thanks in advance.

For now you can better keep them in the test tube until there are 40 workers. Then you can go to the half a size of the nest you got now and if that is full you can give the nest you show us now. The nest that you have now is so big that they drop their eaten food in other chambers and there can get fungus and mites on them what can kill your colony.

Did i see an avicularia tarantula there ? I myself have tarantulas but ants are my passion :D

Yes, but it is a Psalmopoeus pulcher. Besides ants so we also keep many different species of tarantulas, cockroaches, miscellaneous invertebrates, and venomous snakes.

Nice creation on the nest, but I agree that the nest is way too big for a small Ligniperda colony. It will take them years before they fit that size nest. By then you'll have rubbish dumped in every empty chamber rotting that you can't remove. Need to make your nest expandable to grow with the colony.
