Very cool setup,

at the moment I have 1 queen + 1 worker.. last week 1 more worker was born, but it never seemed to be able to work, the next day it was dead :(

In deed, very nice setup. Its nice to see such a big colony of these ants, you don't see that much.

What is wrong with them? Do you still keep them in a test tube or already Ytong or sand nest or?
Make sure their nest is humid enough, and you should warm it with a heat mat (my C. vagus responds really well to this). Also, don't look too much at their nest, just keep it covered up, and dark. Stress is not good for humans, and neither is it for ants.

They are in a very small Ytong nest at the moment.

I have 8 workers at the moment.
The maximum workers I had was 10
But sometim a workers dies.

I have the colony more then a year now
Started with a queen and 5 workers

Yes I keep it moist enough
and I keep it also dark.

I don't use a heat mat
I heard that the specie doesn't needed it?

(sorry if my english is bad :P )
