Today I cant see the eggs anywhere in the tube.. Maybe they have been eaten

I have spotted at least 4 of the eggs - they have been moved to the other end of the tube away from herself and the cotton wool Is this normal behaviour?

they may move to the other end if it is more suitable. basically they move the eggs to the best environment for the egg depending on variables (temperature, humidity), maybe the other end is warmer?

Like badman said. Maybe the temperature is better there. As long if she is taking care of them everything should work out well.

Small update - The queen is still alive and well/active but the remaining eggs have not hatched yet and I recon its been about 4 weeks. Temperature next to the tube is a steady 26c.....

If none hatch at all then can I ask for another queen??

Same for me here ... having a Messor ebeninus queen for nearly 2 month... There are eggs all the time but no larvae ...

I'm not sure about that Gary but i think you can. (Still you can write a note to Antstore about it)

I have this species to for a few weeks now (queen only) mine has larva at this moment so i hope there will be workers soon.
