...Someone would wish to adopt my ants?

I'm being forced to give them away, my mum finds them disgusting and is always threating to put them out into the garden, which they will die because of our climate.

So, The ants I have are Camponotus ligniperda, There's about about three workers, some larva and also a few eggs. I have a formicarium for them. I hadn't finshed the Y-tong so its still basic.

I'm hoping they can be taken in by someone who has ants before, not just a newbie looking for free ants ^^.

I'll pay the postage, everythings compeletly free.

Thats a shame. I feel very sorry for you. If there is a pet that is clean, doesnt require everyone to attend to, doesnt sniff your vitals all the time etc it is an ant colony in a formicarium!!

but this is bad news, it sounds like your mother has made her mind up, and that you have a responsible attitude to re homing yuor ants, maybe in the future when you have yuor own place, you will be able to re visit yuor ant keeping hobby...

it might help to let your mum know that it would be completly illegal for her to put them in the garden, as they are not a native species, and u'l grass her up lol
