As a lot of us ant keepers keep our ants in ytong blocks, i think it would be a good idea if antstore added to the description of ants the kind of humidity needed inside the ytong... as in what percentage of the block should be kept damp. Just an idea!

Almost all species can be kept in a y-tong but some of them dig through it. Almost all species with majors can dig through y-tong. Not in the first year but they will eventually.
