Ich denke an das Kaufen einer Kolonie des Polyrhachis Tauchens (Weberameisen) und wollte wissen, welche Ausrüstung ich benötigen würde. Ich habe bereits den Formicarium, aber nicht viel sonst! And a glass basin at least 30x20x20 cm. They are exotic ants, so you need a heating lamp too.
The ants also use wood splinters or sth. equal to build up their nest.

Hey,
also, be advised that the colonie grows at an enormous speed! One user had one colony fill up 3 1meter fish tanks within a short period.. another antkeeper ended up having to kill the colony for producing a heavy, aggressive stench. As intresting as this species may be, they come with a heavy backside.
