hi all
i was wondering i have a block of a substance similar to ytong which i plan to use for my formica fusca colony but when the water reaches the top of the block after it has soaked up a lot of condensation forms and i was wondering how i could prevent this

ya try to keep temperatures same from the inside of the nest nd outside cuz thats how condensation happens

Ore use a little less water.

Drill tiny holes to the glass/whatever you use.

ok thanks guys i have opened the tubing and the condensation has gone a bit it also has died down due to the while block now being moist.
i also have another question when hibernation comes (i know its a long time away) should i leave the block to dry out or should i try and keep it moist

You better keep it moist, maybe a bit less than in summer.
