Hi all,
I need the definition of "canopy ants"...This term is very frequently on scientific pubblications on ants, but i haven't found the right definition...Anyone can help me?

I suspect it is simply a 'sub group' of arboreal ants, which is any species that does not live on or under the ground (terrestrial ants), and is used to define species which are found only in jungle canopies, this is simply 'where the trees stop' above the jungle floor, its extremly rich in biodiversity in comparison to the floor which gets very little light
