another update the queen killed one of the workers not long after a started putting them together so i didn't try and do it again until yesterday which was a complete success as the remaining 2 workers from the old queen have merged with the new colony and the queens not showing any aggression and is acting normally as if they weren't there

Well thats good... Perhaps the first one you tried still had traces of the old queen on her. Good luck anyways.. and put up some pics soon dude
