i wont dont worry lol,i am enjoying espially my rubra colony its doubled/tripled the size near anouth then when i first got them about 150-200+ ants now im going to move them into a much larger basin soon but i have to wait untill x mas lol

as u might of noticed im not at skool today cos im sick lol

does your colonies nest in wood or soil or somthing

But i know your problem. I have 3 colony now, too. And when i want some more i have to search for a place for them. And im loving it to put new colony's in new basins. And so in want every week a new colony

same ere,same ere maybe not quite every week though lol. even though i do want quite a lot of colony's, i guess we both have to wait for enough room/money to keep them before we get any more ants but it would'nt be fair on the ants if we got more species and we have not room for them, at least this way they wont suffer and not have anywhere to go so...........i guess we both have to wait even though its hard to lol

Hi mzfckr!

They are really quite the same. Only the colour is a bit diffrent. Camponotus ligniperda has a small orange point, and thats why they look a bit better than hercukeanus (I think!)

So, when iI where you, I would buy ligniperda, because of the point...

about the same i think mzfckr, as we have disscused they are rather simerlier so.........although i havent kept these species which makes this more differcult. i dont think there is very much in it between the two apart from the things we have discussed together

yea, i want ligniperda now.i was just interested in herculeanus because it lives in my garden.
who have some cheap'n'good ligniperda queen ,huh?
