and jimmyve one quick last question do you need to adjust the humidity in the ytong or is room humidity ok so i wont have to use any water on my tank

Depends on the species you keep sith. But for this one i think the humidity is okay this way.

@sithmater676: ive just received my temnothorax nylanderi and set them up. there living in a cork nest 7cmx 5cm and there loving it! there amazing to watch and i must of got around 100 ants! Ill post a picture if you want to see them and the set up.

they are pretty active, very interesting to watch! ive used white sand on my island so i can see them alot better! they seem to love the cork nest i built them!

thanks jimmy, they seem to enjoy it within there new nest! couldnt beleive the amount of ants i got with the colony! might get a second! they would be fine to add in the island also.
