ANTSTORE World of Ants

Hello, This colony was acquired on the 14th of May 2008. The colony contains around 100-150 workers and a good amount of brood.

The colony has currently nested in a toilet roll tube slightly submerge in the sand and both ends blocked up with the colony in the middle.

The colony has been very fierce and quick to get food, the colony has already consumed: A harvestman, small fly, a mealworm and a bluebottle fly.

Update 16th May 2008-

The colony continues to expand their nest with a constant stream of workers bringing sand out of the nest.

The colony have just taken 2 more flys into their nest.
