This ant species comes from mediterraneal Europe and as you wrote, there are few cases when it was found in middle Europe... Now was this species also several times found in Slovakia and I´m trying to find this species out like new ant spec. in Slovakia. I´ve had found Pyramica spec. in Greece, I will just give them to one myrmecologiest for identification, but the terms of found was very similiar by ant species with cases showed here: Hyperlinks sind nur für registrierte Nutzer sichtbar and in my attachment
